    https://bestpaperwrirters.com

  1. The Proceedings will include a permanent record of papers/posters given at the Congress. Texts (in electronic form: doc or docx) should not exceed 3000 words (including footnotes and bibliography) to allow every participant to be included in the two volumes of the Proceedings.
  1. The deadline for the acceptance of papers for publication is by 31st March 2016. Papers not received by this date will not be included.
  1. Contributions, consisting of one file doc/docx (including the text and the plate) and the files of the single images (jpg) should be uploaded as a ZIP FILE* to the Congress website.

To upload your zip file you need to open the following webpage of the Congress website: http://xvcinpsf.unime.it/openconf.php in the section Proceedings. From here you will be able to upload your text in doc format (according to the instructions presented in the Guidelines) clicking on “Upload file”, using your ‘Submission code’ and your ‘Password’.

We remind you that your credentials are those you received when you submitted your abstract (and your PowerPoint presentation), not those received for the Congress Registration.

If you have lost the original credentials, follow the instructions that appear on the same webpage http://xvcinpsf.unime.it/openconf.php, once you have clicked “Upload file” (‘forgot ID?’ or ‘forgot password?’).

and the jpg files of the images in the form of:

SURNAME, initial of the NAME, number of the figure according to the plate:

e.g. CALTABIANOMfig1, CALTABIANOMfig2 etc.

  1. It will not be practical to send out proofs for all authors to check, so please ensure that there are no typographical errors or other mistakes in your script. This is particularly important for papers in languages other than Italian. If there are problems with individual papers, the editors will subsequently correspond directly with the author(s).

Text

  1. The typescript should be submitted, single-spaced, on A4 or (US) letter size paper, with left and right margins of 2.00 cm and top and bottom margins of 3.00 cm.
  1. Font size should be 10 pt for the text, 8 pt for the footnotes, 9 pt for the Bibliography and the same font should be used throughout the paper, unless the Inscription Numismatic font is used for the reproduction of coin inscriptions.
  1. DO NOT attempt to format your text. This will be done by the editor to ensure continuity throughout the volume(s). If you are using more than one level of heading within your paper, please indicate the hierarchy of these on the typescript by labelling them 1., 2., etc.

Footnotes and Bibliography

  1. For abbreviations of pages, plates, figures, numbers, editors, etc., please follow the current use of the language you are writing

References in the Footnotes should be in the form e.g.:

– Rossi 2013, p. 15, tav. I, n. 3.

Entries in the Bibliography should be in the form e.g.:

  • Franke P.R. – Hirmer M. 1964, Die Griechische Münze, München.
  • Parise N.F. 1988, Valuta ‘calcidese’ e valuta ‘fenicia’. Un rapporto di cambio dimenticato, RIN 90, 15-18.
  • Mayhew 2013, A foreigner’s view of the coinage of Scotland, in Holmes N. (ed.), Proceedings of the XIVth International Numismatic Congress Glasgow 2009, I, Glasgow, 23-32.

For the abbreviations of the Journal Titles, see the Année Philologique.

Submission of the Illustrations

  1. Tables and line illustrations (drawings, maps, graphs, etc.) should each be submitted not embedded in the text, but AT THE END OF THE TEXT IN THE SAME FILE, and they have to be included in the total character count. They will be positioned in the published volume by the editor and typesetters, but please label each illustration and indicate on your typescript where you would like to see each of them inserted.
  1. Please note that illustrations will be reproduced only in black line. Graphs and diagrams generated by computers in color will not be reproduced, and authors should take account of this. A variety of solid, broken or dotted lines should be used in graphs, and a variety of shading in histograms and other diagrams.
  1. Photographs of coins, medals, etc. will be reproduced in plate one for each contribution. They have to be submitted in electronic form (jpg) in monochrome only, in a format no lower than 300 dpi to enable satisfactory reproduction. Coins, medals, etc. should normally be illustrated at 1:1. Any illustrations not to this scale should be clearly marked as such, stating the actual size, in the caption to accompany the plate.
  1. Please make up your plate If you are making up page plate of multiple images, please ensure that the plate is no larger than 170 mm wide x 220 mm high. Numbering of the individual images should be achieved by placing the figure (s) beneath single images or beneath and between the obverse and reverse images of the same coin.

*To create a zip file, containing your file doc/docx (with the complete paper including text and plate) and the files of the single images (jpg), simply select all the files and, after having right-clicked on the mouse, click ‘compress’. At this point it is sufficient to load to the system platform only the generated compressed file.
